Aston Kaanapali Shores - A Property Refresh
Aston Kaanapali Shores is set to embark on a $1.4 million lobby and rental-unit refresh with an anticipated end-of-summer completion. $70 Million Renovation Completed at Grand Wailea
Grand Wailea, A Waldorf Astoria Resort, sits on 40 lushly landscaped acres along Wailea Beach on Maui. Built in 1991, the resort recently completed a $70 million refresh that included an overhaul of 780 rooms and suites, and the launching of a new deluxe suite category to meet the demands of families: Honuaula Suites. Young Mermaids Earn Their Tails at Fairmont Kea Lani's Mermaid University

UFO Adventures Expands Inshore Fishing Charters for Summer
UFO AdventuresWith UFO Adventure's Inshore Fishing Charters on its 12-passenger Cooper V out of Mala Wharf proving popular, the company is adding a second boat, with charters offered from June 1 through Aug. 31. The Mercury, set to launch from UFO Adventures' Kaanapali Beach location, is an intimate six-passenger, five-angler vessel. Families and children, ages five and older, are invited to join Spa Montage Kapalua Bay on Sundays at 8 a.m. to learn breathing and visualization techniques. The 45-minute fitness class will improve flexibility, strength and coordination. Yoga class prices for non-guests, $20 for adults and $10 for children; for resort guests are $14 for adults and $7 for children. MauiWine Reopens History Room of ‘Ulupalakua
The History Room of ‘Ulupalakua at MauiWine is reopening after undergoing restoration and further historical curating. The room now features historical photos, periodicals, journals and a timeline of important milestones in ‘Ulupalakua history from 1841 to present day, covering the estate's plantation, ranching and winemaking eras, and chronicling King David Kalakaua's visits to the estate. The History Room is located inside the estate's King's Cottage, which once served as the preferred guest residence of King Kalakaua.
