Molokai Farmers Market
Apr 19, 2012
Sun ripened avocados, golden papayas, crisp green beans, and kabocha squash all grown in the sun-kissed soil of Molokai – this is the Saturday morning Farmers Market. Locals and visitors gather to "talk story" at the weekly market.
You'll find plenty of freshly picked produce. From locally made crafts and keepsakes to a variety of organic fruits and vegetables, there’s something here for everyone including opportunities to speak with the farmers as many of them tend their own stands.
Locals greet each other and talk story while visitors get an up-close look at the heart of Molokai with friendly smiles, intriguing conversations, and fresh produce grown just minutes away.
Perhaps you’ll locate that perfect gift or the fresh vegetables you need for dinner, but whatever you find, you’ll always leave with a smile.
The Molokai Farmers Market takes place every Saturday morning from 8am until noon on Ala Malama Street in the center of Kaunakakai.
