From Oahu, a flight from Honolulu International Airport (HNL) will have you at Molokai Airport (MKK) in 25-35 minutes with one of the direct daily flights from Mokulele Airlines, Makani Kai Air and ‘Ohana by Hawaiian. Mokulele Airlines offers twelve daily flights from Oahu, Makani Kai six daily schedule flights and ‘Ohana by Hawaiian recently started three direct flights a day.
Flights from Maui’s Kahului Commuter Airport (OGG) will take 25 minutes to Molokai with one of the eight daily direct flights on Mokulele Airlines.
Makani Kai also offers direct flights to Molokai’s Kalaupapa Airport (LUP) from both Honolulu (HNL) and Maui’s Kapalua Airport (JHM).
Want to travel by sea instead? From Maui, there is a daily ferry that leaves from Lahaina, Maui and arrives at the pier in Kaunakakai two hours later. You might even see whales and other sea life on the way! The ferry departs at 7:15am, Monday through Saturday, and daily at 6pm. For the return trip to Maui, the ferry leaves Kaunakakai at 5:15am, Monday through Saturday, and 4pm daily.
