July is joyous month in Maui Nui with celebrations the whole month long. Start your month of festivities early by attending the Pineapple Festival on Lanai, on Saturday, June 30. Enjoy magical theatre on Maui, Sunday, July 1st, and then spend the 4th of July on the Westside of Maui where you can find live entertainment, music and fantastic fireworks. The fun for July is just getting started as the rodeo and parade,pictured above, take place in Makawao the following weekend. A concert featuring award winning Hawaii music performers and festival on honoring our yummy and useful coconuts come next. Round out your month of great entertainment with Mel Brooks “The Producers” at the Historic Iao Theatre, in Wailuku which features Maui’s community theatre efforts and do try to attend of our wonderful town parties too.

57th Annual Makawao Rodeo
