Very small island, two wonderful resorts. How did Lanai pull it off? Oh, who cares. (Well, maybe readers of business publications.) Otherwise, the story here is about two distinctly different Four Seasons resorts: the beachside Four Seasons Resort Lanai at Manele Bay and The Lodge at Koele with its singular upcountry setting. But there's another angle to accommodation on Lanai: the historic Hotel Lanai right in "downtown" Lanai City.
