Sail Off Into the Sunset with New South Shore Tour
Holo Holo Charters recently launched its new Aloha Sunset Tour, an all-inclusive, two-hour boat excursion along Kauai's sunny south shore that features 1970s classic, mellow music of Hawaii, delicious bites, refreshing Mai Tai cocktails, picturesque sunset views from Poipu and possible marine life sightings. Ocean Course Renovation at Hokuala Completed
Timbers Resorts, one of the largest independent developers and operators of private boutique resorts and residence clubs, has completed the renovation of Hokuala’s renowned Ocean Course and expanded the course’s practice facility, which opened to the public in early November 2016. In addition to the substantial improvements to the golf course, formerly known as the Kiele Course at Kauai Lagoons, construction has begun on a luxurious new clubhouse featuring an enhanced pro shop, lagoon-side restaurant and bar, and Tennis Garden. Aqua Kauai Beach Resort Unveils New Renovations, Wedding Packages and More
The Kauai Beach Resort has recently completed a property refresh to its rooms and public spaces. The Shops at Kukuiula recently welcomed its latest addition to the South Shore dining experience. Live-Action Puzzle Experience Debuts at The Westin Princeville Ocean Resort Villas
Entitled The Cure for Island Fever, participants race against the clock to solve a series of puzzles in order to find the answer to a riddle. The premise for the game is: Guests have wandered into The Doctor’s lab, where he has discovered a cure for Island Fever. The cure has been locked away in a safe place, and it’s your mission to find it by following various clues. The Cure for Island Fever is currently available exclusively for registered Westin Princeville guests by reservation. New Culinary Era and In-Suite Spa Experiences at Poipu Restaurant
Koa Kea Resort’s signature restaurant Red Salt welcomed a new executive chef in late 2016 to usher in a new culinary era at the hotel. Limahuli Garden & Preserve Debuts New Tours
Located on Kauai’s North Shore, Limahuli Garden & Preserve, part of the National Tropical Botanical Gardens, focuses on mountain-to-sea biocultural conservation, ecotourism and sustainability. The Garden has debuted two news experiences for visitors to enjoy. The Family Tour available Tuesday through Friday at 9:30 a.m., allows for families of various ages and sizes. Family group must include at least one child 17 years or younger. The new Specialty Tour, available Tuesday through Friday, is recommended for adult groups. The tour is approximately 2.5 hours and reservation time is flexible based on needs. Over 35 years ago, Imralee and Walter Pomroy founded the Kauai Museum’s first annual May Day Lei Day contest. Today, their son Paul and daughter-in-law Noelani Pomroy continue to support the annual contest and honor the cultural tradition of lei making.
