New Dining Experience: Four Seasons Resort Hualalai introduces Hualalai oysters, grown and harvested on site, and raised in the resort’s self-contained Punawai Lake. The oysters, a variety of crassostrea virginica from Chesapeake Bay area parental lineage, grow organically in clean, clear water from a pristine subterranean seawater aquifer, tapped and drawn from wells deep within the lava.
